Some minor updates have been implemented on the site, mostly simply user interface items. The Table of Contents feature is back so now our projects should be easier to navigate.
Other then that work is progressing on APP-02. New rendered images of the airframe are posted on the APP-02 Project page under the design log.

There have been several issues noted with the new site and its interactions with Microsoft’s Internet Explorer. Several of these bugs have been addressed and hopefully we will have the other issues ironed out shortly. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, our simplest solution at this time is to suggest using Firefox... its the right way to go anyway.
In other news there is talk of a new logo possibly being worked on.

Airborne Photography Platform (APP-02)

The next revision of the Airborne Photography Platform is slowly coming together. Allot of the errors made in the APP-01 are being corrected in this design. Most notably this design is going to be a bulsa wood frame and sheet design. Using balsa wood as the skin will allow for a much stronger airframe design that will eliminate the flex issues in the old design. The airframe will also likely be re-inforced using fiber glass.
No date yet on when it will fly, but the extended goals for this project remain the same as for APP-01. The short term goal is to have it flying.
