This is a very preliminary update to say that work has begun on SDLAN V6.0. A brand new look is being planned with the intent to address some of the glaring issues surrounding the current look and feel of the site.

The new (old) Trainer1 airframe is being readied for flight again. It has been many years since this model has been flown so it could be adventerous. Complete details are available from the project page.

Well not to much has been going on lately. Work on APP-02 has stalled for the moment while another airplane is brought up to flight status.
More damage was done to the electronics in the APP-01 crash then was anticipated. Three of the servos used in the aircraft were significantly damaged. Most notably both throttle servos suffered significant damage, one had its gears stripped and the other one appears to have had its electric motor damaged in some way. Two of these servos have been salvaged and repaired.
Hopefully the newly refurbished trainer will be flying within the next week or so.
